In the work InsideT – LEARNING FROM THE BODYMOVEMENTS OF MATTER #01, Stella Geppert conceives of herself, the head construction and the space as matter in a constant state of transformation. Through the use of breathing techniques, the artist allows her internal organs to communicate beyond her body, transforming the space itself into her body. Physical movements and drawing are understood as a constellation that shifts between material and energy, whose traces are inscribed as energetic forcefields into the oversized drawing space. The inner psychic state of isolation then appears in the drawing as a planetary map marked by expanse and openness.
